Smell gas, got a cooktop sitting in the box, or need a compliance certificate for an insurance claim? Licensed gas fitting from Tuggerah. Written quote before any tool comes out. Certificate of compliance issued the day the job’s done.
Gas job sitting on the to-do list? Cooktop in the box for a fortnight because two gas fitters have ghosted you? You’re not the first. Most of our new gas customers come to us after someone else didn’t show, didn’t return calls, or quoted on the phone and then walked it back at the door.
We do it differently. Gas work in NSW has to be done by a licensed gas fitter with the right endorsement, and every job we do leaves the property with a Certificate of Compliance (Gas) in your hand. Before any tool comes out, you’ll have a written quote. That quote is the price. If the install needs a regulator the original installer skipped, or the line behind the wall is undersized, we stop, explain, and you decide whether to keep going.

You'll get a calendar invite when you book. SMS reminder the day before. The plumber calls before they head over. For gas jobs that mean an appliance install or a planned shut-off, you'll know what time the gas goes off and when it's back on. The appointment lives in your phone, not in a four-hour window.
Jordan, Sam, Bailey, Jason, Pat or Lewis. Our gas-endorsed tradies are named in our Google reviews, not just for the work they did, but for how they did it. Once you've had one of them out, you can ask for the same one next time.
You'll have the price in writing before any tool comes out. The quote is the price. If we find more once we're into it, like an undersized line or a missing isolation valve, we stop and you decide whether to keep going. If you don't proceed, you don't pay.
350+ five-star reviews from your Central Coast neighbours. Read what they wrote about their gas cooktop installs, gas heater repairs, and gas hot water jobs before you book us.

Every gas job we do leaves with a Certificate of Compliance, a written quote you got before the work started, and a lifetime workmanship guarantee in writing.
Cooktops, ovens, gas hot water, gas wall heaters, gas BBQ outlets. We connect the appliance, pressure-test the line, commission it to the manufacturer's spec, and issue the Certificate of Compliance before we leave. Natural gas or LPG.
Hear a hiss near a fitting? Step outside, turn off the gas at the meter, then call us. We arrive, isolate the leak with electronic detection and soap test, repair the line, pressure-test it, and certify the repair.
Running a new line for an outdoor BBQ. Extending the line for a kitchen renovation. Relocating an appliance to a new spot. Decommissioning a gas line you're not using. All gas pipework done to AS/NZS 5601, with a compliance certificate when it's done.
LPG bottle install, regulator replacement, dual-cylinder changeover systems, LPG appliance conversions. We handle the bottle-side hardware and the appliance-side fitting, and we'll tell you if the regulator's reached the end of its safe life before it fails.
Don’t take our word for it. Our Central Coast customers are quick to leave a review when the job goes the way it should. Read what your neighbours wrote about their gas appliance installs, gas hot water swap-overs, and everyday work.

I recently had my sink repaired and couldn’t be happier with the service. The plumber was professional, punctual, and clearly very experienced. They quickly identified the issue, explained everything in simple terms, and fixed it efficiently without any hassle. What really stood out was their attention to detail and how clean they left the area afterward—no mess at all. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of a reliable and trustworthy plumber. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future plumbing needs!Posted on Google Lalani O'ConnellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We would like to thank Sam from Turner and Co Plumbing for rectifying many of our connections from stormwater -sewerage and replacing some wider down pipe connector so as more run off can escape better rather than overflow. Sam also adjusted copper piping so as present back yard renovator could pour concrete easily and hopefully make for smooth concrete slab. Sam offered us two ways to rectify our plumbing concerns always keeping our budget in mind. Basically a quick , effective and sturdy result. He was polite at all times and although digging the trench and removal of excess concrete boulders was hard work always remained positive , cheerful and humorous. Each individual task that needed repair or alteration he was very knowledgeable and spoke with us about what was needed, why it was needed and pros and cons of how our decision could save cost on the outcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sam for any plumbing repairs. He is honest, fair, well versed and reliable. Headquartered on Pioneer Avenue, Tuggerah. When the call comes in, the closest truck heads out. We cover Gosford, Wyong, Terrigal, Woy Woy, The Entrance, Bateau Bay, Long Jetty, Berkeley Vale, Kincumber, Erina, Avoca Beach, Umina Beach and the suburbs in between. If you’re on the Coast, we probably cover you.
Gas work on the Coast splits across two networks. Most of the central corridor (Tuggerah, Wyong, Gosford, Terrigal, Erina) runs on Jemena natural gas mains. The rural pockets, semi-rural beachside and parts of the peninsula run on LPG bottles. Salt air takes its toll on outdoor regulators near the beach, and older fibro homes still have original gas lines from the 70s that need updating before a new appliance can be connected. Our trucks are stocked for both networks. Our team has seen it before.

A plumber works on water, drainage and stormwater. A gas fitter is a separate trade licence for working on gas appliances, gas lines and gas connections. In NSW, only a licensed gas fitter can legally do gas work, and the gas fitting endorsement sits on top of a plumbing licence. Our team carry both.
Yes. Any gas work in NSW, whether it’s installing a cooktop, swapping a gas hot water unit, running a new line, or repairing a leak, has to be done by a licensed gas fitter and certified on a Certificate of Compliance (Gas). We issue the certificate on completion, every job, no exceptions. If you’re claiming on insurance or selling the property, that certificate is the paperwork they’ll ask for.
No. Gas work without a licence is illegal in NSW and uninsurable if anything goes wrong. The exception is changing an LPG bottle on an existing, compliant outdoor BBQ. Anything that involves connecting an appliance, opening a fitting, or pressure-testing a line has to be done by a licensed gas fitter.
Cooktop and oven installs are usually clean jobs. For new gas lines that need to run through cabinetry, a wall cavity, or under the floor, we’ll walk through the access we need before we start and put down drop sheets. If we need to cut into anything, you’ll see exactly where on the written quote first.
It depends on the job. A straight cooktop swap on an existing point is at the lower end. A new gas line run, regulator replacement, or LPG cylinder install is more. You’ll get a written quote on the spot before any tool comes out, so you know the price before we start. If you don’t proceed, you pay nothing. No call-out fee.
Yes. The quote is the price. If we find more once we’re into it, like an undersized line behind the wall, a missing isolation valve, or a regulator that’s failed its pressure test, we stop, explain what we’ve found, and you decide whether to keep going. No surprises at the end.
Apart from Gas Fitting Services, we also provide a wide range of other plumbing services. Including:
